Kermit’s Swamp Years-An Incredibly Bad and Forgettable Muppet Straight-to-DVD Film

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6bPSLrBwbk&list=PLq9VyNRJc4K1-tPurqWiMQODeiCZDRt1lEverything about the film feels cheap, with the same hazy look of most straight-to-DVD movies, overly hammy human performances, and a soundtrack that swaps between painfully forgettable musical numbers or generic-sounding background songs. It's clear the movie is catering to a much younger demographic than most Muppet movies, as the writing feels incredibly juvenile, with a lot of low-brow jokes and simple puns.

There's some fun to be had, with some decent jokes and impressive puppetry. Otherwise, there's not much here. The film is the cheap forgettable, straight-to-DVD slop that the Muppet franchise avoided for so long and that they never attempted again. The film stands as this odd anomaly in Muppet history.
